OAS AND ILO SIGN MOU FOR COOPERATION AT XV-INTER-AMERICAN CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS OF LABOR

Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza of the Organization of American States (OAS) and International Labour Organization (ILO) Director General Juan Somavia signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation between the two organizations. The cooperation agreement was signed on Tuesday 11 September at the end of the inaugural session of the XV Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) held in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 11 to 13 September 1007.
