Title: Caribbean Subregional Occupational Safety and Health Workshop for Employers
Place and Dates: 10-13 February 2004, Saint Lucia
Purpose: To review conclusions/recommendations arising out of the previous OSH Workshop for Employers held in Tobago from 7 to 10 October 2002; To report on action implemented by participating countries at the above-mentioned OSH Workshop, in respect to OSH strategies in the workplace.

Title: Caribbean Labour Ministers Meeting
Place and Dates: 21-23 April 2004, Bahamas
Purpose:

• To review regional and international developments impacting on the labour portfolio.
• To encourage Ministers of Labour to be more proactive in developing and promoting national labour policies and practices in line with ILO Conventions, in particular, the Fundamental Labour Standards and other key Conventions, and their Ratification.
• To promote Social Dialogue and Social Partnership arrangements, improve Industrial Relations and Social Protection.
• To discuss “Strategic Visions for Labour Administration in the Caribbean.
• To consider proposals for the modernisation of Labour Ministries.
• To co-ordinate the positions of Caribbean countries at the ILC.

Title: ILO Subregional Meeting on International Labour Standards for Lawyers, Judges and Legal Educators
Place and Dates: 17-21 May 2004, Trinidad
Purpose:

• To equip law professionals to implement International Labour Standards at the national level.
• To master the machinery and content of the ILS system.
• To use the tools and documents that allow an in-depth understanding of ILS
• To use or teach ways of incorporating International Labour Law into national case law.
• To identify and use the added value of ILS in key areas such as freedom of association and discrimination.
