ILO launches employer and trade union guides on the CARIFORUM-EC  Economic Partnership Agreement

GENEVA (ILO News) – The Director-General of International Labour Organization (ILO) Juan Somavia has expressed his satisfaction that three renowned economists have been awarded the 2010 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for their work on issues of central concern to the ILO. St. Vincent and the Grenadines advances in implementation of new labour market information system
A new labour market information system for St. Vincent and the Grenadines will soon be on the horizon for use by policymakers, employers and job seekers.  The system is the initiative of the Labour Department of the Ministry of Urban Development, Labour, Culture and Electoral Matters, with technical support provided by the International Labour Organization's Office for the Caribbean and the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD).  (14 October 2010)
